Greetings Church,
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I also hope that you are recovering from all the fun and festivities. As we roll into a brand-new year, many of us will make New Year’s resolutions. The things in our lives we desire to change or leave behind. These things that we are talking about can come in many forms and for many different reasons. The desire to change might come from health needs, finances, relationships and many more areas. The New Year is a way to look at life through a new lens of reflection. It is a way for us to wipe away the old and welcome in the new. For us as a church, the new year gives us a reminder of what it is like to believe in Christ Jesus. We have the opportunity to become new every day. So, as we search our heart for the resolutions we will make, let us not be restricted by the thoughts of things we need to leave behind. Let us also take time to realize things we can add to our lives that will fulfill our needs. The struggle to improve our health, the desire to improve our finances, and the longing for stronger and gratifying relationships all can be helped with a deeper relationship with Jesus. He is in all things and is seeking good for all of us. Take a moment and find a way to add some Jesus time to your busy schedule. I know we are all so busy already and don’t feel we can carve out any more time. While this seems true, let us reside in the knowledge that all things are possible through Christ Jesus. So, let’s begin by asking Him to help us with our time management where He will be the center of everything we do. — Looking forward to hearing how Christ Jesus makes our lives better in the year 2025
